Leading this week’s list of property professionals finding new homes, or just upgrading their pay packets, is a real estate finance veteran taking the top money job at a southern Chinese developer. Also getting their turns in the spotlight, a rising star at Swire takes a step up and DBS bumps up a veteran member of their real estate research team. Read on for the details on all these personnel moves and more.

Lee takes on his new duties with Yihe after three years with Hong Kong-listed Jingrui Holdings, where he served most recently as Head of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations. The London School of Economics graduate also has experience with Renhe Commercial Holdings and UBS in Hong Kong.

Henry BottHenry Bott has been promoted to Portfolio Manager at Swire Properties in Hong Kong after serving for two years as Project Leader for Digital with the Quarry Bay-based developer. Bott’s step up at the developer of Island East and other iconic Hong Kong properties comes less than two months after the University of Nottingham graduate was named “Young Surveyor of the Year” by the Hong Kong branch of real estate industry group the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Greta Xu has taken a step up to the rank of Senior Vice President of China Real Estate and Strategic Coverage with DBS Bank in Hong Kong. Xu’s promotion comes after the graduate of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology had served more than nine years with the Singapore-based financial institution, including most recently as a Vice President for China Real Estate. In addition to her undergraduate studies at HKUST, Xu is also qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst.

crystal maoCrystal Mao has joined the Real Estate Investment team at Manulife-Sinochem Life Insurance, based in Shanghai. Mao’s latest role with the Canadian-Chinese joint venture insurance firm comes after the graduate of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics spent more than two years with CBRE in China’s commercial capital, including most recently as a Senior Analyst with the Investment Properties.

niki liNiki Li has signed up with CBRE in Shanghai as a Senior Analyst with the Capital Markets team, joining during the same month that Crystal Mao left a similar role with the real estate agency. Li joins CBRE after spending just four months as a Leasing Officer with retail asset management specialist Pradera Retail Asia. The graduate of China’s Southwestern University of Finance and Economics previously spent two years as a gradaute trainee with JLL in Chengdu.
